Taking a short break...

I just wanted to let you know that Being Anne will be taking a short break, because I'm taking a rather special holiday. It's my 60th birthday in a couple of weeks, so I'm pushing the boat out a little. 

I'll be enjoying the salsa rhythms in South America - visiting Santiago and the Chile winelands, seeing the Iguaçú Falls that spill into Argentina and Brazil, walking the elegant streets of Buenos Aires, and finally seeing the imposing statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro and spending some time at Copacabana beach.

I'll be back with you in November - when I'll be sure to tell you about the highlights of my holiday, but also have absolutely oodles of wonderful books to tell you about.
